Villa Guado is an impressive stone manor house, built around an ancient tower, dating back to the 13th century, recently magistrally restored and converted into an elegant and comfortable holiday home, where you can find, together with many original Tuscan features, all the modern conveniences, including Wireless Internet connection.
In panoramic position amidst the green and picturesque landscape, northeast of Arezzo, close to Chianti area and Umbria, the farm-house looks out at the fascinating medieval towns of Anghiari and Sansepolcro, birthplace of the great painter Piero della Francesca, and at the same enchanting Tuscan scenery, what inspired great painters as Raffaello, Leonardo, Signorelli.
Although amidst the tranquillity of the Tuscan countryside, the holiday home is at within easy driving distance from Arezzo, Cortona, Perugia, Siena and a very convenient base for visiting Rome and the main art towns in Central Italy: Florence, Urbino, Orvieto, Trasimeno Lake… They all are easly attainable through the E45 speedway, only 3 kms from the villa, and A1 highway 38 kms from us.
The villa’s accommodations consist of 2 suggestive reception rooms and 5 refined self-catering vacation-apartments, of different sizes and typology, with excellent facilities. The whole farm-house is surrounded by a very large beautifully maintained gardens (20.000 mq) with the panoramic 15X7 swimming pool.

Villa Guado, with its reception rooms plus the park, the spectacular scenery offered by the surrounding panorama and a very large private parking, is a superb cerimonies and weddings location in Tuscany ( sometimes and only on Saturdays), with optional catering service on request. Museums, cultural sites, thermal Museums, thermal baths, golf, tennis courts, horse-riding, shops, typical tuscan restaurants available at short driving distance.
Apartments
All the apartments ( from 2+ to 4+ guests) are stylishly decorated thanks to a carefully selected colour scheme of warm, pastel shades (yellow, apricot, indigo, mauve) and enjoy plenty of natural light along with panoramic views of the tuscan landscape and the foothills of the Apennines. Each self catered accommodation has its independent entry on the ground floor from the garden, own fireplace, a fully-equipped kitchen-corner (4 plates, gas, refrigerator, ice compartment, electric oven, coffeepot, boiler, toaster..), 1 bathroom, with shower, bidet, sink, WC, and all the benefits of modern technology ( Satellite TV, individual washing machine and individual heating ). Available, on demand, Wireless connection, Baby-cot, Highchairs for babies, iron and hair dryer. All linens, including swimming pool towels and tables cloths, fans and windows mosquito-nets are provided. The sofa/divan, present in each liv-room, can be transformed into a second double or single bed ( extra charge). Each apartment is equipped with private outdoor dining area, sunshade and garden forniture.

• OUTSIDE: In the centre of the large and beautifully maintained gardens (20.000 mq), where you may stroll through vast green areas and enjoy a spectacular view on the tuscan landscape, there is the panoramic and equipped 15X7 swimming pool (purified through filters with sea salt widhout the bother of the chlorine) with outside shower, for only guests’ use and relax. The gardens provide, also, plenty of garden furniture: gazebos, sun-beds, tables, chairs, sunshade and a playing and barbecue area.
